Join us for a unique experience at Sunset Hill, where a Champagne Toast awaits you! This is an exclusive chance to rent your own custom Bronco and embark on a guided western horseback ride and witness the majestic bison in their natural habitat. Minimum 2 guests.

Our horseback riding adventures at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch cater to beginners, featuring gentle and well-trained horses suitable for all ages. Sit back in your authentic western saddle as your guide leads you through the scenic Joshua Trees along the historic Mormon Trail to Buffalo Point. Capture stunning photographs of wild buffalo and panoramic views of Spirit and Iron Mountain along the way. Lunch included! Horseback riding available for ages 8 and over. Pony rides are available for ages 3-7. 

This package also includes a luxury Bronco rental for the day, affording you the opportunity to get out and explore the wilderness that extends far beyond the Las Vegas Strip! The ranch is located just 2 hours southeast from Las Vegas. Plan a visit to the Hoover Dam* on your way to the ranch and be sure to visit Grand Canyon West* for the Skywalk and popular viewpoints of Guano Point and Eagle Point.

As you venture out of Las Vegas and make your way into Arizona, marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the McCullough, Sunrise, and Frenchman Mountain Ranges. As you approach 'Last Stop' and Dolan Springs, Arizona, there are plenty of gas stations and restroom stops in case you need them.(mind the time zone changes between states)

As you turn onto Pierce Ferry Road, remember to adhere to the speed limits and watch for the local free-roaming cattle across the vast landscape. Once you transition onto Diamond Bar Road, another picturesque opportunity awaits you: the striking high desert forest of Joshua Trees. These resilient trees, enduring the harsh desert conditions, can live for centuries. Continuing your journey towards the Grand Canyon plateau, you'll catch sight of "Avi Kwa Ame," also known as "Spirit Mountain," revered as one of the most sacred sites on Earth by the Mojave, Chemehuevi, and Southern Paiute communities.

Arrive at the Ranch and prepare for a memorable adventure with a 1-hour horseback ride guided by a genuine cowboy! With over 800 acres of land and diverse trails, you'll uncover captivating tales from the past. While on your ride, you'll encounter the resident Bison herd grazing at the ranch. Your day away will have you completely unplugged: Sorry - no WiFi, or internet services, but you will experience cowboy entertainment throughout your stay as well as a delicious lunch our ranch-style restaurant.

Dress appropriately for the weather and the rugged terrain. Make sure to wear closed-toe shoes suitable for navigating the desert landscape safely. Additionally, we suggest bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, and, of course, your cell phone or professional camera to capture those unforgettable moments!

Driving guests must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license. Be sure to bring your ID with you to pick-up your Bronco and to check into the Ranch. Please note: Our Broncos comfortably fit 4 adult passengers. If you have a larger group and feel you need a second Bronco, please contact us for an updated price.

* Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon West entrance fees and activities are separate costs not included in this package. If, while at the Ranch, you would like to partake in axe throwing or shooting at their Gun Range, you may purchase those experiences onsite, separately.
